Magazine Cafe offers the following Returns Policy: Frequently Asked Questions 1. What magazines do you carry? We carry a huge selection of 6500+ titles of Domestic and International magazines for varied interests. You can search magazine titles on Home page from the Category tabs or Quick Search window (by entering first few alphabets of name of the magazine) or by going thru A to Z List provided. Since we keep adding more and more titles every week, if you do not find any magazine(s) listed on our website, please contact us at info@magazinecafestore.com or by phone (212)-391-2004 or fax (212)-391-2088 and we will get back to you with magazine status / information. 2. Which issue do I receive? Do I specify the issue I need? We carry the latest / current issues of magazines. Previous issues immediately get replaced by current issues on the shelves. If you need a specific issue please email us at info@magazinecafestore.com along with your Name & Order number. By default we always ship the most current issue. No exchange or returns are accepted. 3. Do you carry back issues of magazines? We don't carry back issues in stock. But at times, we may have some immediate previous issues available which have not yet been sent back to the publisher or destroyed. You can check with us about availability of an immediate previous issue at info@magazinecafestore.com. 4. Can you ship domestic and how to calculate shipping costs? Yes, we do ship domestic via UPS. We have a UPS shipping calculator at the checkout page which will give you an approximate cost of shipping. Actual cost will be determined at the time of shipping label creation. Once the shipment is shipped you will receive you confirmation from UPS via email. For any specific shipping requirements (US Postal, Fed Ex) before ordering please contact us at info@magazinecafestore.com with all the information and we will get back to you with shipping quotes. 5. Can you ship overseas? Yes, we do ship overseas. Please contact us at info@magazinecafestore.com with all the information and we will get back to you with shipping quotes. It is advisable that you find out about custom requirements (if any) of that country in advance before shipping is done. No refunds will be issued for returned/undelivered parcels because of insufficient address or custom requirements. 6. Can you ship magazine to servicemen overseas? Yes, we can if you would provide APO/FPO address while ordering. We require a consent letter from the cardholder, along with copy of creditcard and driving licence. No refunds will be issued for returned/undelivered parcels because of insufficient address, institutional policies or custom requirements. 7. Can you send magazine(s) as gift? Yes, we can ship them as per your instructions and message on a gift card. We require a consent letter from the cardholder, along with copy of creditcard and driving licence. No refunds will be issued for returned/undelivered parcels because of insufficient address. 8. Can you ship magazines to prisons? Yes we ship to prisons, but there are restictions and rules: - Adult magazines are generally not allowed. - Magazines depicting violence or gangs are often rejected. - Men's magazines, such as Maxim or FHM, are sometimes rejected because of nudity. - The number of magazines allowed at one time is usually limited. It seems three is a safe number, but check with your institution. - Many states have requirements that magazines, books, and newspapers come directly from the publisher, but this is interpreted differently by each state, each prison, and each mail-room employee. We advise you check with prison authorities or recipient before ordering. We require a consent letter from the cardholder, along with copy of creditcard and driving licence. No refunds will be issued for returned/undelivered parcels. 9. Does placing an order confirm availability? Not necessarily, after we receive your order, we physically check the availability of the magazine(s) you ordered, if they are available, we will go ahead and ship them to you by charging your card. If they are not available or out of stock or part of them is not in yet from the publisher we will get back with status and seek your instructions. 10. Do I need to give my contact information? Yes. It is very important that you provide us with accurate contact information to process your order efficiently. 11. When does my credit card get charged? Once the order is placed, we physically check and make sure all or part of the magazines you ordered are in stock and prepare your shipping label. Only after that we charge your card. 12. If I do not want to use credit card online, are there other ways I can make payment for my order? Yes, you can pay via Pay Pal. At the time of checkout you will find the option to pay either by Credit/Debit Card or Pay Pal. 13. Is the cover price of the magazine on the website accurate? What price I will be charged? Not always, as the cover price of magazines can be changed by publishers/distributor from time to time. We update our website periodically but there is a possibility that change in price, especially in case of international magazines, may reflect after sometime. These changes are not frequent, but do occour occasionally. We get to know the new cover price only once the magazine arrives on the shelf. We charge only publishers / distributor recommended cover prices. 14. Do you have all the magazines listed on your website in stock? We do have majority of the magazines listed on our website in stock at any given point of time. But sometimes due to popularity of some issues we might be sold out and we may or may not be able to re-order it depending upon its availability with the publisher / distributor or sometime distrbutor has stopped carrying it for certain reasons. We will try our best to get you a magazine/issue that we are out of stock or do not carry. 15. What are the terms & conditions for subscriptions? · The customer has choice to take subscription(s) for either 6 months or 12 months · All subscription(s) are payable in full, in advance and are nonrefundable. · Delivery/shipping will start as soon as the first available issue(s) will become available thereafter. · Prices listed are subject to change and include shipping cost within USA by USPS /UPS ground or similar services. Any express / international shipping will be at extra cost. · The Customer agrees to pay any price escalation made by publisher / whole seller / distributor during the period of subscription(s) already paid for and allow us to additionally charge their account for any such price increase. · We shall not be liable to the customer or any other party for any direct, indirect, consequential loss of business /sales /profit /goodwill etc., on account of any delay / non receipt / discontinuation of subscribed magazine(s) from its publisher / whole seller / distributor or for losing / wrong delivery in transit /shipping by carrier company or due to any act of omission or commission by us / our employees /shipping company. For any fault of ours, our liability will only be limited to refunding actual cost of issue(s) missed /lost by the customer. · We reserve the right to make changes in the terms and conditions of this subscription program any time at our discretion 16. Can I change my order or credit card information or shipping address? Yes only if your order has not been already processed and shipped you can always change or cancel it by sending us details of your order at info@magazinecafestore.com along with changes you want to make. 17. Can you order a title not listed on the website? There is a good possibility that we are already getting the magazine you need as we keep adding more and more magazines every week. Although we keep updating our website as regularly as possible but we may be behind. Please contact us at info@magazinecafestore.com to check availability on magazines that are not listed on our website. Even if we do not carry a particular magazine we will try our best to get it for you from our different sources. 18. I bought a magazine before but it is not listed on the website now? The reason for this could be either it is no longer published or the distributor stopped carrying it. 19. Do you accept returns? We are unable to accept returns due to time sensitive nature of magazines. All sales are final, unless by mistake wrong magazine has been sent to you, in such cases we will replace it or refund the charges. If you need a specific issue please email us at info@magazinecafestore.com along with your Name & Order number. By default we always ship the most current issue. 20. What if order shipped lost or damaged or delayed or misdelivered? It is very rare that such a thing will happen but never-the-less it can happen. We assume no responsibility in such cases once an order is handed over to the carrier with a proper shipping label. All UPS shipments are automatically insured up to $100 without any extra cost to you. We can provide you with shipping details and tracking numbers to follow up the shipment and claims, if any, from your end. Under any circumstances our liability will always be only up to the extent of the total value of the order.
